Maximizing SQL Server's Performance Over WANs

Abstract: When moving data between remote offices or SQL Servers hosted in the cloud, typically a low-bandwidth or high-latency connection must be used. Get the essential TCP/IP and SQL Server settings that really make a difference to overcome bandwidth constraints and maximize the performance of your SQL Server replication, SSIS/DTS packages, and applications built on SQL Server.
